As you can see in the photo above, I had to hold the flower up as a slug had caused damage to the spike causing the flower to hang upside down

My Tillandsia crocata started flowering a month or 2 back – has a really nice fragrance. Here’s a photo from today

Received a division of this Dockrillia rigida from PH today. A few buds, flowers not open yet, and no roots. Mounted on some Cork Oak bark – let’s see how it does. This one was receiving a LOT of light, and so the leaves are a deep red colour.
